For much of this morning Nina and I were still dealing with the electrical issue from yesterday. So my mind was not really on what I was seeing while traveling along. Mind you the scenery was cooperating with my level of indifference as for much of the first 150km the land was flat grassland.

After that 150km I arrived in the town of Richmond and that coincided with the fixing of the electrical problem with the house. Yippee.

Richmond turned out to be a nice little town which has a big obsession with dinosaurs.

Just after leaving Richmond I stopped at the rest area in the photos below. I was struck by the contrast between the descrete use of vegetation to disguise the toilets compared with the flat grassland all around the rest area. I tried to capture that with a pano; but it only sort-of worked.

I eventually stopped for the night in the town of Hughenden. So far I have not taken any photos of Hughenden but will get some tomorrow morning before I leave.
