Another quiet day at the Centro Obrero La Libertard. Nothing hopeful seems to have happened in Honduras over the past few days, we will wait a little longer before looking at radical options.

Last nights dinner of prawns turned out OK - I would give it a 7.5 out of 10. I think next time the oil needs to be hotter.

In addition to the customary trip by bus into town for food we ventured out by ourselves in the Tiger today to get it washed. A team of 4 guys worked on it for about an hour and only charged us $5. While waiting we got into conversation (?) with a local "cowboy" - he was even carrying a hand gun in a holster on his hip - who brought his Hyundai truck into the car wash to be cleaned. It was a very limited conversation as out Spanish was not up to the standard of his English. He introduced us to a local cold treat. Its chocolate, coconut milk, banana mixed together, frozen and packed in a small plastic bag. It is eaten by biting off a corner of the plastic bag and sucking the mixture out.!!

Just after dinner we got a rain storm that lasted a couple of hours. Lots of lightening and thunder and really heavy rain. It gave a good excuse for an early night.
